The PRISM Sky External Voltage Wires have been created to allow users to easily power various payloads and accessories with the aircraft's onboard regulators. The following voltages are available:
5V
12V
24V
50V (12s+ Battery line voltage)
This product is available for purchase .
Each cable only outputs one voltage. Simply purchase the cable for the voltage that you desire.
INPUT: Amphenol Tuchel Industrial T3360005U Connector
OUTPUT: XT60-F (Female bullet, male housing)
LENGTH: 15 total inches.
Simply plug the External Power Cable into the rear of the aircraft's External Power Output connector (far right port on the Rear Power Panel). This connector is capable of outputting various voltages, depending on which pin is populated in the connector. Simply plug in and twist the connector lock so that it is properly secured.
It is recommended to plug in these cables WITH THE MAIN POWER TURNED OFF. This will ensure that a misaligned cable or pin doesn't damage the system when plugging in.
Be sure to ensure that these power cables are properly secured so that they do not contact either the top or bottom propellers during flight.
Each of the regulated voltages are capable of the following amperage output:
5V: 2A available to the entire system. Do not exceed a maximum of 2A combined when powering peripheral electronics!
12V: 8A available to the entire system. Do not exceed a maximum of 8A combined when powering peripheral electronics!
24V: 6A available to the entire system. Do not exceed a maximum of 8A combined when powering peripheral electronics!
If more power is required for a particular payload, it is recommended that a 50V cable is purchased, providing direct battery voltage to your payload. At that point, it would be best for the user to power down the payload onboard to the desired voltage with an additional regulator.
